Job Duties
- Prepares new client registration and intake for outpatient services and programs.
- Provides information and referrals to community services both in person and via the telephone.
- Complete thorough intake evaluations, triage assessments and registrations.
- Answer client phone calls.
- Understands Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance programs in regards to coverage limitations and restrictions.
- Maintains and assures client confidentiality.
- Cross-train at all Admissions locations in the Porter-Starke network in order to provide support as needed as the various office locations, as deemed necessary by the Director of Acute Intensive Services.
- Completes electronic and paper medical record documentation as required.
- Provides crisis intervention services on-site or at contracted ED locations, when needed.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
- Mental health experience preferred, but not required.
- CPR certification is required, Porter-Starke can provide if needed.
