Process incoming applications from prospective students and document items required for final admissions decisions
Review final documents, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, licensure, and ACT/SAT scores
Prepare admissions decision sheets and documents for review by the Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Planning
Oversee data entries in the student information system for new and prospective students
Verify application materials and communicate with applicants regarding missing documents
Organize received documents to create a composite GPA for admission decisions
Assist applicants with questions and concerns through in-person or telephone meetings
Refer applicants to other Methodist College departments as needed
Assist the Registrar with course articulation of transfer credit and related CAMS data entry
Provide completed files and admission decision documents to the Dean
Prepare acceptance letters for signature
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Illinois driver's license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State
- Higher education work experience
