As a member of the admissions team, the Admissions In-houseCounselor and Visit Coordinator provides admission counseling andenrollment services support. The position oversees the schedulingand execution of group visits, and conducts individual studentinterviews/meetings, through which s/he serves as a permanent,in-house point of contact for visiting prospective students andfamilies, and guides students through the admissions process. Thisrole participates in the annual review of applications foradmission and the awarding of scholarships. The role also providesshared administrative support for Admissions, Student FinancialServices, and the Registrar by answering routine questions,triaging calls and messages, and ensuring inquiries reach theappropriate person for timely follow-up. This role is designed tostrengthen the visitor experience, provide an enhanced level ofadmission counseling, and maintain responsive campus coveragethroughout the admissions cycle. Limited recruitment travel,evening work, and weekend responsibilities may be required duringpeak periods.

The qualified candidate will coordinate and deliver individual andgroup campus visits, including scheduling, personalizeditineraries, faculty and staff appointments, student ambassadorcoverage, visitor communications, welcoming guests, and post-visitfollow up. Will serve as an in-house admission counselor by guidingprospective students and families through the admissions process,responding to questions, conducting presentations and interviews,supporting application completion, and completing assigned outreachand conversion activities.

Bachelor’s Degree is required. Must have experience in customerservice, experience in admissions, enrollemnt services, highereducation, student services, or a related field preferred.

Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, andpresentation skills. Ability to think critically and exercisejudgment in the review of student applications for admission andscholarship. Enthusiastic, positive, student-centered mindset withthe ability to create a welcoming experience for students andfamilies. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailedrecords, exercise sound judgment, and coordinate work acrossseveral offices. Ability to explain routine College processesclearly and recognize when a question must be referred to otherCollege offices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Experience with, or ability tolearn, Slate CRM and other College systems used by Admissions,Student Financial Services, and the Registrar.
