The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Director of Admissions
What You Will Do
Coordinate and manage the admissions process from inquiry to move-in.
Conduct assessments of potential residents to determine eligibility and care needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and community organizations
Provide information and guidance to families and potential residents about services, amenities, and care options.
Conduct tours of the facility and answer questions to help families make informed decisions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising materials.
Attend community events and health fairs to promote the nursing home and its services.
Maintain accurate records of admissions and related documentation.
Work closely with nursing staff, social services, and administrative personnel to facilitate a smooth admissions process.
Participate in care planning meetings to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor and report on occupancy rates and trends.
Analyze admission data to identify areas for improvement in the admissions process.

Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
