About the Role:
As an Admissions Director, you will be responsible for screening potential admissions from the hospital, home, or other healthcare settings to our skilled nursing facility and ensuring a smooth transition for our residents. Your duties will include:
Conducting tours of our facility, meeting with families and potential residents, and hosting marketing/sales events
Initiating insurance authorizations, verifying benefits, and collecting payments from residents and families
Coordinating public aid applications and managing stays within each payor source, including Medicare
Maintaining confidentiality of resident information, representing the facility to hospitals, senior communities, and insurance/payor sources
