nAbout the Role:
nDallas Christian College (DCC) is seeking an Admissions Counselor who plays a key support role at Dallas Christian College. Responsibilities include territory management, prospecting, recruitment, follow-up, and application processing. This role requires recruitment travel, including school visits and college fairs, and emphasizes building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The position is accountable for achieving enrollment goals, supporting admissions operations, and contributing to institutional mission alignment.

nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Recruitment and Territory Management
nManage a designated recruitment territory, including assigned athletic programs, geographic regions, and student populations.
nRecruit prospective students through outreach efforts such as college fairs, high school visits, church visits, and other recruitment events.
nUtilize a multi-channel communication strategy, including phone, text, email, and virtual engagement, to connect with prospective students and their influencers (parents, counselors, pastors, alumni, etc.).
nBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including high schools, community colleges, churches, para-church organizations, and homeschool community.
nCoordinate and execute recruitment travel and scheduling of off-campus visits.
nCollaborate with faculty and athletic coaches to support enrollment goals.
nProcess campus visit requests and coordinate tours for prospective students and families.
nAchieve enrollment goals as established by the executive leadership team.
nAdmissions Process Management
nGuide prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
nEvaluate applicant qualifications using established admissions standards and submit recommendations to the Director of Admissions.
nMaintain consistent follow-up and accurate record to ensure progression through the enrollment funnel.
nAdmissions Operations & Student Worker Supervision
nAssist with on-campus and off-campus admissions events.
nManage the Admissions Outlook email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication and delegation.
nMaintain proficiency in CoreCampus (Student Information System/CRM) to manage communication, track progress, and support recruitment efforts.
nTrain and monitor student workers assisting with admissions communications and office support tasks.
nContribute feedback and insights to improve overall recruitment strategy.
nAdditional Responsibilities
nAttend admissions staff meetings and institutional meetings.
nParticipate in campus life opportunities, including chapel, as available and permitted.
nPerform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
nQualifications
nEducation and Experience
nBachelor’s degree required.
nPrevious experience in admissions, sales, customer service, or recruitment preferred.
nSkills and Abilities
nComputer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and effectively use a SIS/CRM system.
