Admission Director

Summary:
Patapsco Healthcare is seeking an energetic, organized, and reliable Director of Admissions to lead our admissions efforts in a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for driving census growth, managing the admissions process, and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical records and understand medical terminology

• Promote clinical outcomes and data-driven results

• Deliver presentations and engage in community outreach

• Provide excellent customer service under pressure

• Collaborate across departments and with external partners

• Understand various insurance types (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care)

• Operate independently with strong decision-making skills

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in marketing preferred

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and adapt to change

• Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality a must

• Familiarity with admissions in a long-term care setting is a plus

Preferred:

• Maintenance or facility knowledge in a healthcare environment is a bonus
