nPosition Summary:
nThe Admission Counselor is responsible for executing strategic undergraduate recruitment efforts within an assigned geographic territory. This position represents the University of Dubuque at high schools, college fairs, community events, and campus programs, while providing individualized admission counseling to prospective students and families. The Admission Counselor collaborates with admission leadership to develop territory-specific recruitment strategies, evaluate applications, analyze enrollment data, and contribute to achieving institutional enrollment goals.

Manage all recruitment activities within assigned geographic territory to support undergraduate enrollment goals

Provide admission counseling to prospective students, parents, and school counselors regarding admission policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial aid opportunities

Represent the University of Dubuque at college fairs, high school visits, receptions, and on-campus recruitment events
n n - n
Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Admission to develop and implement a strategic territory recruitment plan and travel schedule
n n - n
Evaluate admission applications and analyze enrollment funnel data to monitor recruitment progress and improve student conversion outcomes

Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's Mission

Proficiency in utilizing data and enrollment management systems to support recruitment strategies and decision-making

Requirements:

Undergraduate Degree Required in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Graduate Degree preferred

Previous experience in college admission, recruitment, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred
n n - n
Ability to travel extensively and transport admission materials, displays, and equipment; valid driver's license required
n n - n
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
n n - n
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and perform event-related activities that may require extended standing, walking, and climbing stairs
