Internship Overview
Caring Professionals is looking for interns interested in becoming a long‑term care administrator. Internships will vary on the situation of each candidate but will be a minimum of two months. Hours can be flexible as long as interns understand they will need to complete the state‑required 240 hours.
These internships are paid. You will learn many aspects of long‑term care administration including but not limited to:
- Dietary operations
- Social services
- Business office systems
- Budgeting
- System analysis
- Personnel leadership
- Nursing systems
- Environment service systems
- State and federal regulatory compliance
- Therapy recreational programming
