Administrative Secretary | Ophthalmology ReceptionistJoin a dynamic ophthalmology office team providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves managing front office functions, coordinating communications, and supporting physicians, staff, and patients with a warm and professional approach.Efficiently handle all typing and copying tasks, including creating forms, maintaining menu systems, and preparing reports, minutes, and communications for physicians and staff. Ensure timely completion of correspondence as directed by the Office Manager.

Manage incoming calls, retrieve voicemails, and facilitate communication by paging or contacting physicians and associates across departments. Provide consistent front desk phone coverage and maintain accurate message taking and filing of patient and non-patient documents. Offer constructive feedback to improve front office efficiency and effectiveness.High school diploma or equivalent required.

Coursework or experience in administrative duties, typing, word processing, spreadsheets, and communication skills is preferred.Previous experience in receptionist or administrative roles is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment are essential. This position is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Scheduled for full-time day shifts with a standard 40-hour workweek.
