Administrative Secretary | Medical Office ReceptionistThis role provides essential office support by implementing and maintaining administrative systems, procedures, and policies, while overseeing various administrative projects. The position ensures smooth and efficient front office operations and manages supply procurement. It serves the needs of associates, physicians, and patients within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest.Essential Responsibilities:Perform all typing and copying tasks for the department, including creating forms, maintaining menu systems, and preparing reports, minutes, and communications for physicians and hospital staff.Complete all word processing and communications promptly and efficiently.Ensure requested correspondence is completed by scheduled deadlines unless otherwise directed by the Office Manager.Answer phones, retrieve voicemails, and initiate contact or paging of physicians and departmental associates as needed.Provide coverage for front office phones during absences.Maintain correspondence and message-taking duties as required.File and copy all patient and non-patient related documents and correspondence.Offer constructive feedback to promote efficient front office operations.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Coursework related to administrative and receptionist duties, such as typing, word processing, spreadsheets, and communication skills, is preferred.Work Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
