The Per Diem Administrative Nursing Supervisor will handle covering holds in the ED and other inpatient areas and cover for Nursing Leadership on inpatient units as needed.

Minimum (2) eight hour shifts a week – potentially more; 7 AM start time – flexibility needed based on unit needs.

Summary

1 year of recent Nursing Leadership experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility during non‑business hours for entire hospital and communicates appropriate information in a timely manner.
• Assumes general supervision of nursing department during non‑business hours.
• Assures adequate staffing in nursing department.
• Responds to customer complaints.
• Communicates expectations re: care standards.
• Manages crisis and emergency situations.

Position Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience.

Required Education

• 2 years management experience preferred.
• BSN or Bachelor’s preferred.

Training / Certifications / Licensure

• NJ RN License.
• BLS.
