Job Description
CTR Group is seeking an Administrative Generalist for a Shipyard in the Newport News, VA, area.
PAY RANGE: $26 - $33 per Hour with Benefits
Work Schedule: 7:30am - 4pm Mon-Fri
SUMMARY:
The Administrative Generalist will be responsible for onboarding employees; processing and/or approving new hires and internal transfers.

• Processing and reviewing background investigation reports.
• Sending and requesting information to internal and external customers.
• Coordinating appointment and start dates.
• Performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, employment eligibility, travel coordination, and equal employment opportunity.
• Maintains both manual and electronic personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel data and prepares reports.
• In accordance with compliance and procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies.
• Provides information to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years additional education and/or relevant experience.
