Administrative CoordinatorThe Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction is a leader in advancing knowledge and innovating solutions in the fields of architectural engineering and construction. The Durham School is co-located in both Lincoln and Omaha. This position serves as the primary administrative support and point of contact for the School at our location on UNL's City Campus in Lincoln, NE.As an Administrative Coordinator, you will:Provide administrative, operational, and academic support for the Durham School's City Campus programs and activities; serving as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.Oversee daily office operations, facilities support, and space and access management.Support aspects of Durham School events such as meetings, luncheons, and visiting speakers, particularly those occurring on City Campus.Support academic and student service functions, including course scheduling, enrollment management support, and classroom logistics.Provide support to students and faculty, answering questions, directing to appropriate resources or individuals, and serving as a liaison with School leadership.Assist with scholarship and fellowship administration.Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts, special projects, and administrative support to the Director.At the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, we're proud to be consistently recognized by Forbes as a top employer and recently earned the Lincoln Family Friendly Workplace certification. Equivalent education/experience considered. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (i.e. Teams, Zoom, or similar programs).
Experience must demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and detail orientation skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple deadlines and interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and community groups.Preferred Qualifications - The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Experience in an academic environment.Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required - NoPhysical Required - NoCommercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
