We will continually improve both the delivery of our products and services and the processes that support that delivery to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally sound, and fiscally responsible transportation system that delivers economic opportunity and enhances the quality of life in Kentucky.By joining our Department of Motor Carriers as an Administrative Branch Manager in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to provide overall management for all sections and units within the Tax and Financial Processing Branch.Holders of the Administrative Branch Manager position will complete tasks such as:Supervises, monitors, assists and tracks progress of installation of electronic applications within the branch for commercial motor carrier taxes and financial processingOversees the collection of commercial motor carrier taxes, maintains financial reports, and participates in internal and external meetingsProvides technical assistance in the administration of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that govern commercial motor carriersBe a liaison to other agencies and organizations to maintain complianceHolders of this job will obtain the following skills:Ability to oversee and manage resources to ensure division goals are met and tasks are performed efficientlyAbility to identify deficiencies to improve productivityAbility to review, analyze and balance financial reportsAbility to assist with creating and implementing new systems for enhanced customer serviceDesired candidates possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position:Excellent leadership or management skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and meet goals and deadlinesDemonstrate professional customer serviceDuties performed in an office setting, sitting at a desk.
