Processes communication and correspondence for the department (purchase orders, policies, materials, memos, agendas, proposals, grant applications and general correspondence).2. Maintains records relative to curriculum, instruction, and staff development.3. Coordinates activities related to the textbook program (inventory, distribution, purchases, and verification of textbook receipts to the State Department of Education and publishers).4. Coordinates activities related to the processing of requests for professional leave.5. Maintains records and materials related to staff development for all certified employees.6.

Processes correspondence and performs clerical duties as needed for all instructional personnel.7. Coordinates contacts for accreditation evaluation teams when requested by principals.8. Schedules professional meetings for the central office.9.
