Administrative AssistantThe Production department is PETA Foundation's creative hub for all print materials, from vegan starter kits and educational leaflets to eye-catching billboards, costumes, and props for our iconic street-theater demonstrations. Our team of project managers, coordinators, assistants, and in-house designers collaborates closely with one another and with external agencies and creatives to bring powerful, mission-driven visuals to life. Together, we produce a wide range of compelling assets that support outreach, advocacy, and campaign initiatives across multiple platforms.Position Objective:As an Administrative Assistant in the Production Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative needs of the department and will help facilitate the work of all team members.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Perform clerical duties for the Production teamPrepare check and credit card expense reports, ensuring prompt payment of all invoicesRun departmental errandsMaintain department print archives, arrange per Production SOPPerform general correspondence, act as a liaison between the department, literature and the mailroomAssist with the organization of the department's Asana, Starchive, Sharepoint, and Dropbox sitesAssist with the coordination of small print projectsAssist Production Coordinators with project-specific researchAssist with printing, assembling, and maintenance of demonstration materials, costumes, and propsPerform quality control and check-in procedures for new print piecesPerform any other duties assigned by the supervisorRequirements:High school diploma or GEDOne year of office experienceDemonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suiteDemonstrated effective research skillsDemonstrated organizational skills, reliability, and accuracyDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
on a regular basisMust be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving recordCommitment to the objectives of the organizationThe hourly pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00.
