Our content areas include human / child development, parenting health management/wellness, heirs' property, and energy efficiency.Fort Valley State University's Cooperative Extension Program is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager for the Family and Consumer sciences area. The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager will be a detailed oriented and organized individual who will provide direct professional, administrative and budget support for the Family and Consumer Sciences area.Major DutiesKnowledge and ability to perform modern administrative office management procedures and systems inclusive but not limited to emailing, scanning, etc.Functions as a primary point of contact and liaison for clients/visitors, department and staff members.Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize work and balance time demands with minimalCompose, prepare, and modify documents such as memos and other correspondence when necessary.Plan and attend meetings to take detailed minutes for distribution as requestedSchedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements whenProcess electronic requisitions/contracts.
