Executive Assistant To The Dean Of NursingCoordinates executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, sorting mail, and interfacing with faculty, staff, students, and other individuals.Assists the Dean of Nursing, with preparation of internal and external documents, presentations, reports, grants, and publications. Of primary importance is the preparation of documents and reports submitted to regulatory and accrediting organizations associated with the ongoing accreditation of the Nursing program.Assists the Dean with management of operating budgets by maintaining timely and accurate records and providing updates as requested.Processes program expenditures (e.g. office supply purchases, faculty travel, parking and mileage reimbursement) to include invoice and purchase order completion.

Establishes and maintains records of all purchases and reimbursements.Coordinates meetings, appointments, and travel for the Dean.Coordinates program events such as student recruitment events, recognition ceremonies, meetings, etc.Records and maintains minutes from program and advisory council meetings.Maintains an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents, including all documents used for regulatory and accrediting agency site visits.Verifies RN licenses on the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing website annually.Tracks and renews association membership forms for the programs.Shares responsibility for data management and maintenance. Works with Information Technology, the Registrar's Office, the Center for Internships and Career Development, and the Institutional Research Office to do so.Works with Information Technology and the Communications Office to maintain the currency of program websites and portal postings.Coordinates, prioritizes, and assigns tasks to student workers as appropriate.Serves as a liaison to various University departments.Other related duties as assigned.Interacts on a frequent daily basis with the University's administrators, faculty, staff, and students, and with external representatives of various agencies and organizations.The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Sitting, standing, walking, and bending are required of this position.
