Serves as liaison between the Executive Director, administrative law judges, and clerical support staff internally and with other state agencies, organizations, legislators and the public. Compiles information and materials for the monthly agenda. Serves as designated lead worker. Plans, develops and organizes special projects, audits and investigations. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.Minimum Qualifications: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration.
Requires two (2) years professional experience in a public or private organization. Preferred Qualifications: Prefers a working knowledge of the Property Tax Assessment Laws, assessment appeals procedures and appraisal theory and practice. Prefers designation as a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO).
