Administrative AssistantDavidson Academy is seeking a Christ-following, motivated, organized, detail-oriented administrative assistant with a passion for providing a safe and well-maintained environment conducive to learning for Davidson Academy's students. This role is integral to ensuring the school's services function effectively for all programs and activities. The ideal candidate has a background in administrative roles and understands the inner workings of a Christian private school.Davidson Academy is an infant-12th grade Christian private school located in Nashville, TN. Serving a diverse student population from Davidson County and the surrounding counties, we believe in the Biblical-based instruction of preparing our students for college, life, and eternity.

All Davidson Academy personnel must adhere to our statements of faith and submit a personal statement of faith.Key Responsibilities:Reception & Front Office ManagementGreet and assist all parents/visitors with a friendly, service-oriented demeanorAnswer incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries professionallyMonitor and respond to general school email inbox communicationsReceive, sort and distribute mail/deliveries dailyMaintain organized front desk workspace and attractive reception areaAdministrative SupportType and prepare correspondence, forms, reports and other materials as neededCoordinate substitutes for teachers who are unable to attend work.Update and maintain accurate student records, databases and filing systemsSchedule appointments, meetings and organize supervisors' calendarsMake outgoing phone calls to communicate with parents as directedAssist in planning logistics for special events and programsGeneral Office DutiesPerform daily opening and closing duties for the main lower school officeHandle petty cash transactions, basic bookkeeping and accounting supportMake copies/scans as neededSupervise and monitor students waiting in main office areaProvide general office clerk duties, errands and special projects as assignedStatements of Faith:We believe God has revealed Himself, His purposes, and His ways in the Bible, which is therefore absolute in its truth and authority over daily living.
