This position is responsible for producing promotional materials, maintaining inventory for the Recruitment and Retention Department and for completing bulk mailings for blood drives. Materials must be typed, laid out and printedMaintain inventory and supplies for the district's Recruitment and Retention DepartmentTrack and complete bulk mailings for blood drivesWrite thank you lettersAssist with on-site recruitmentConfirm drives and public relations requirementsManage, maintain and organize confidential materials including a filing system of electronic and hard copy materialsPrepare and assemble reports, documents and other publications, as appropriateQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirementsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingAbility to work both independently and as a team memberAbility to organize and complete multiple assignments with precision and quick turnaroundAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to follow moderately complex oral and written instructionsOne to two years of related experience preferredWho We AreLifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Starting salary range is $16.00 - $17.60 an hour. Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
