The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.Job SpecificationThe official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:Serves as a liaison between the Assistant Secretary, Medical Director, government agencies, Local Governing Entities, and Behavioral Health headquarters staff.Tracks, routes, and follows up on correspondence from elected officials, constituents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely responses.Coordinates executive meetings, leadership meetings, workshops, interviews, and appointments, including scheduling presenters and documenting meeting minutes and action items.Screens and prioritizes telephone calls and inquiries for the Assistant Secretary and Medical Director and refers matters to appropriate personnel for resolution.Ensures requests for information and action are addressed timely in the absence of the Assistant Secretary and Medical Director.Performs, audits, and monitors time administration activities and records to ensure compliance with LDH and Office of Behavioral Health policies and requirements.Prepares travel documentation and coordinates travel arrangements for executive leadership and other staff, as needed.Position-Specific Details:Location: Office of Behavioral Health/Executive/East Baton Rouge ParishAppointment Type: This position may be filled as a probationary appointment.Cost Center: Position Number(s): 98023How To Apply:No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
