This position is ideal for a finance professional who wants to grow into a more senior strategic CFO role while helping shape the financial direction, operational efficiency, and long-term success of a manufacturing business.The Administration Manager will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic insight to ownership and leadership, and develop scalable accounting and reporting systems to support continued growth. This role will evolve into supervising a small accounting team consisting of a Controller and AR/AP personnel.This is an opportunity to become a key member of leadership within a stable manufacturing environment while building toward broader executive responsibility.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow managementProvide strategic financial recommendations to executive leadershipDevelop and monitor KPIs related to manufacturing efficiency, margins, inventory, and profitabilitySupport long-term growth initiatives, capital investments, and operational expansionAssist with banking relationships, financing, and capital structure planningSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processesEnsure accuracy of general ledger, financial statements, and cost accounting functionsManage inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysisCoordinate year-end audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirementsLearn and understand manufacturing workflows: inventory, shipping, log buying, etc.Establish and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting systemsPartner with operations leadership to analyze production costs, labor utilization, waste reduction, and process efficiencyMonitor raw material pricing, inventory valuation, and purchasing trendsEvaluate profitability by product line, customer, and operational segmentSupport ERP/accounting system enhancements and reporting automationOther duties as assignedRequirementsAccounting or financial leadership experience highly preferredUnderstanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational financeExperience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysisAbility to work both strategically and hands-onStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficient Excel experience preferredEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredWe are committed to the success of our customers through productivity and to the future of our industry through technology.Veneer Technologies Incorporated is a customer-driven, high technology veneer and other wood products manufacturer and supplier with an aspiration to lead the industry not only in the production of the highest quality materials through efficiencies achieved with productivity and superior production but also with an action-not-talk commitment to the overall future of the resource, the industry, the craftsman, and companies who create function and art with wood veneer.Wood veneer is unmatched in its beauty and is an efficient use of wood resources sustainable with appropriate conservation and regulatory measures.
