Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry at Salve Regina University invitesapplications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the Fall2026 semester. We seek qualified candidates to teach OrganicChemistry I.

Course Expectations

The successful candidate will be prepared to teach:

• Structure and Bonding
• Acids and Bases; Functional Groups
• Nomenclature
• Physical properties of organic molecules
• Structure and Stereochemistry of Alkanes
• The study of Chemical Reactions
• Stereochemistry
• Alkyl Halides: Nucleophilic Substitution
• Structure and Synthesis of Alkenes: Elimination
• Reactions of Alkenes

Requirements:

Required :

• Master's Degree in Chemistry

Preferred :

• Ph.D. in Chemistry
