Saint Peter’s offers more than 50 undergraduate majors as well as master’s level and doctorate program.Job Summary:The History Department at Saint Peter’s University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach undergraduate courses in either premodern history or modern world history.Duties & Responsibilities:Teach one or more sections of premodern history (e.g., ancient, medieval, or early modern) or modern world history courses per termDevelop syllabi, deliver lectures/discussions, and assess student learning in accordance with departmental standardsBe available to support student learning through virtual meetings or office hoursMaintain accurate records of attendance and gradesQualification Standards:Master's degree (required) or Ph.D. (preferred) in History or a closely related disciplineDemonstrated content expertise in premodern history, modern world history, or bothPrior teaching experience at the college/university level preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsInterested candidates should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae.
