Adjunct Lecturer - Planning Degree Program (Part Time) (Multiple Positions)
The School of Landscape Architecture and Planning invites applicants for the position of Adjunct Lecturer in Urban Planning and/or Real Estate Development. This part‑time, non‑tenure track position requires teaching one to two courses per semester, which may be delivered online, in‑person, or a combination of both.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach one to two courses per semester.
- Prepare syllabi and course assignments.
- Deliver classroom lectures and instructional activities.
- Create, grade, and critique student assignments.
- Prepare and grade exams.
- Evaluate overall student performance in the course.
- Participate in relevant department faculty meetings as appropriate.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work with various students and colleagues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing web‑based and remote learning environments.
- Successful college or university teaching experience.
