Position Summary

The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part‑time temporary teaching positions.

Major Responsibilities

A classroom‑based 3 credit hour course pays $4,000 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below, but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. Illustrative needs include: ESL 406: Educating English Language Learners, ICC621: Linguistics.

Functional and Supervisory Relationships

This position reports to the department chair and works in collaboration with the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Terminal degree preferred.

Compensation

Salary: $4,000 per 3‑credit hour course.
