Major Responsibilities
A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
- Laboratory Instructors for majors and non‑majors
- Introductory Biology
- Cell Biology, Genetics
- Human Anatomy and Physiology
- Microbiology for non‑majors
- Ecology
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
Adjunct instructors report to the principal instructor of course(s) and/or laboratory coordinator. The Department Chair is hiring the supervisor for all adjunct positions in the department.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree in biological fields related to course subject area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal degree preferred.
