Adjunct - Kinesiology & Health (Fall 2026 – Summer 2027)

Wright State University’s College of Health, Education and Human Services invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Kinesiology & Health for the Fall 2026 – Summer 2027 semesters. Applicants should hold the academic and professional qualifications appropriate for the adjunct instructor rank and may advance to adjunct professor as a future opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional experience or academic qualifications in Kinesiology & Health.
  • Degree at a level one degree above the level to be taught, except for terminal degree programs where the same level of degree or coursework may suffice.
  • At least 18 graduate‑level credit hours of instruction in the field if teaching outside the scope of the applicant’s advanced degree.
  • One year of professional or teaching experience unless otherwise specified by the program.
  • Commitment to the college’s mission, including diversity integration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in didactic, clinical, and simulation instruction, with 100% of instructional time devoted to these experiences.

Responsibilities

Teach courses, develop syllabi, grade student work, and participate in departmental meetings as required for the adjunct instructor role.
