Adjunct Instructor, Business AdministrationLangston University is building a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to support our Second Chance Pell Program. Positions are temporary and based on departmental needs, which vary by semester and location. Selected candidates will teach undergraduate courses within the Business Administration curriculum, specifically at the Dick Conner Correctional Center.Langston University, Oklahoma's only Historically Black College and University (HBCU), offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Students gain practical skills and experience across key functional business areas.Launched in 2015, the Second Chance Pell Program provides Pell Grants to incarcerated individuals for eligible postsecondary programs. Langston University's program, active since 2007 at the Dick Conner Correctional Center, has awarded over 500 certificates and degrees—demonstrating the transformative impact of accessible education.We are seeking passionate adjunct instructors to teach business-related courses and support this mission of second chances through education.We are looking for adjuncts qualified to teach in one or more of the following areas:AccountingBusiness StatisticsComputer ScienceEconomicsFinanceManagementMarketingMathematicsTypical duties include developing and delivering course content, providing instruction in person at the correctional facility, assigning and grading coursework and exams, maintaining accurate records and submitting grades on time, and the ability to travel to the teaching location (Dick Conner Correctional Center).Required qualifications include a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the designated subject area or equivalent professional experience, and demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the subject area.Skills, proficiencies, and/or knowledge include strong written and oral communication skills.Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D./Ed.D.
from an accredited institution, minimum of five years of professional work experience in the subject area, and prior college-level teaching experience.
