Course content may include: electronic billing, reimbursement issues, CPT classifications and/or pharmacology.Special Assignments - May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.KSA's/Required Qualifications - The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience. Applicants must be currently credentialed as CCS, RHIT or RHIA and have at least two years of coding experience. Minimum Education Required- must be a currently certified coding specialist (CCS) and have three years of hospital coding experience.Additional Considerations - Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching. Associate's or Bachelor's degree, 5 years of coding experience, coding teaching experience.
