Additional/Dual Appointment – Staff Psychiatrist, CF, California Health Care Facility - PIP

Job Description

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking Psychiatrists currently employed with the state of California who are interested in additional appointments to provide coverage in a part-time capacity, up to 40 hours per month.

The hourly rate for this position is $174.57 - $179.63. This is a limited term position for 12 months, which may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Job Duties:

• Provide psychiatric care to patients in a correctional facility setting.
• Work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department and with other governmental agencies, healthcare partners, and communities.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Psychiatrist in the state of California.
• Must be currently employed with the state of California.
• Must be able to work up to 40 hours per month in a part-time capacity.
