Additional/Dual Appointment – Physical Therapist I, CF - California State Prison, Sacramento (SAC)

Position type: Part-time dual appointment for eligible California State employees. The role provides coverage in a part-time capacity (up to 40 hours per month) at California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS).

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services in a dual appointment setting, ensuring the additional appointment is a distinctly different role from the primary job.
• Work onsite at the primary institution; additional on-site appointments may be available.
• Hours and dates of work will be determined by the hiring location and will be outside normal hours; time worked is not considered overtime.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Currently employed with the State of California in good standing and interested in a part-time dual appointment.

- The only stipulation is that the additional appointment must be distinctly different from the primary job, and the individual cannot be a supervisor, manager, or executive in the primary role.
