Mount Sinai West is seeking a full-time Addiction Psychiatrist or Addiction Medicine Physician to join its Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai West. - The Inpatient Addiction Unit and Outpatient Program are co-located on the ninth floor of Mount Sinai West Hospital in Midtown Manhattan.
- Staffed by an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, mental health clinicians, nurses, and trainees.
- The outpatient addiction continuity clinic provides the full spectrum of addiction pharmacotherapy, including injectable buprenorphine products.
- This is an academic position with a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide clinical care to a small census of inpatients on the Inpatient Addiction Unit.
- Provide clinical supervision to addiction medicine fellows in their outpatient addiction continuity clinic.
- Provide direct patient care in the outpatient clinic.
- Clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine.
- Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $240,000 to $275,000 annually (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine.
- ABMS or AOA Board Certified or Board Eligible in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine if within 3 years of fellowship graduation.
- Ability to obtain a full and unrestricted New York State medical license.
- Ability to obtain a full and unrestricted DEA license.
