Overview
Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Program — Baltimore, Maryland; Glenwood Life Counseling Center , a progressive, CARF-certified, non-profit, medication-assisted treatment and recovery program, is seeking full- or part-time addictions counselors to provide group and individual counseling and case management services to opiate-addicted adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual counseling for opiate-addicted adults.
- Provide case management services.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with substance use disorder.
- A minimum of an AA degree (BA preferred) in mental health, psychology, addictions, social work, or related behavioral health field.
- A “trainee status” (or eligible to apply for it) in addictions or a CSC/CAC, or
- A master’s degree and a license in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field. (Candidates without a license may be eligible to apply for a “trainee status”.)

* Beginning full-time salary range: $43,000-$48,000 + bonuses.
