Self-Driving Concept Vehicle DeveloperThis role supports the development of self-driving concept vehicles across perception, localization, planning, and controls. Contributions to core algorithms and support of tooling, automation, and workflow optimization are expected. Strong C++ and Python skills are required, along with the ability to design robust solutions for complex technical challenges. This role involves contributing to multiple projects in parallel, requires strong organizational skills, and includes domestic travel.Design and implement software modules in C++ and Python. Build interfaces for vehicle sensor and map data access. Develop and refine sensor data processing algorithms. Create in-vehicle data collection modules. Develop tools for data visualization and offline analysis. Contribute to continuous integration and deployment modules.Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving capabilities. Effective planning, organization, and time management. Ability to independently solve complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast paced environments.
Experience with C/C++ and Python. Hands-on experience in robotics domains such as perception, sensor fusion, planning, or mapping. Background in perception, localization, motion planning, or controls.Understanding of modern software design patterns and safety critical coding practices. Familiarity with ARM64 Linux development (e.g., NVIDIA Drive Orin/ Thor).
Experience with real-time systems and multi-threaded programming. Familiarity with automotive communication standards: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
Experience with Vector CANoe.
Experience with GitLab, Jira, Codebeamer. Exposure to ROS/ROS2, DDS, or automotive middleware.Required: Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field. Desired: Master's or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.Flexibility to travel (domestic and international). Full time position.
