ADA Eligibility Analyst

In this role, you will review applications, documentation, and completed ADA assessments to determine eligibility for paratransit services in accordance with established ADA requirements and Pierce Transit policies. You will interpret assessment results, apply eligibility criteria consistently and objectively, communicate determinations clearly, and provide information about alternative transportation resources when appropriate.

The essential functions of this position include reviewing ADA eligibility applications, documenting pertinent information, analyzing medical terminology, informing applicants of eligibility decisions, auditing existing certification clients, responding to customer inquiries, and representing Pierce Transit at public forums.
Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field, and three years of relevant experience working with people with disabilities or senior citizens. Desired qualifications include public sector experience and experience in the transportation industry. Knowledge of ADA legislation, medical terminology, and principles of transit services is required, along with skills in customer service, communications, data input, and organizational/time management.
