Therapist Position
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents aged 7-17? NSBH is on the lookout for a dedicated therapist to join our acute program, working Monday to Friday. What you'll do: manage a caseload of 8-10 kids. Provide individual and family therapy sessions weekly. Offer groups daily. Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure successful discharge.
What you'll love: work with youth facing a variety of diagnoses. Help them transition safely back into the community. Utilize your strong time management and organizational skills.
Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education). Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Must be Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC. Some experience with children/adolescents. Must be at least 21 years of age. Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
