Work Schedule

  • Full Time Days - (40 hours per week)
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm

Our Endoscopy unit offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient cases , providing staff with the opportunity to build strong clinical versatility. The team operates across five endoscopy procedure rooms , supporting a high volume of both routine and specialized cases . Staff enjoy the chance to work in pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure, and post‑recovery phases, gaining rounded experience across the full continuum of GI care. This is a busy, fast‑paced environment ideal for nurses who thrive on teamwork, efficiency, and professional growth. The schedule supports excellent work‑life balance, with minimal on‑call requirements for weeknight, weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Reading and math ability appropriate to the position
  • Experience as an STNA, PCA or ACT strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to multi‑task required

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and document basic patient care tasks under RN supervision; maintain competency in trained skills, complete assignments on time, and seek clarification when needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment by reporting hazards, following Infection Control policies, completing safety event reports, and adhering to safety and emergency procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and team members; report patient information and assignment issues promptly; document observations accurately; collaborate with the healthcare team and use the chain of command appropriately.
  • Support unit operations by performing supply, equipment, and environmental tasks; report shortages or equipment problems and ensure supplies/equipment are ready for the next user.
  • Demonstrate accountability and commitment to self‑growth; identify areas for improvement and support organizational and unit changes.
