Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) – Acute Care , Sitka, AK
Pay Range - $99,000 – $126,000 + $10K Sign-On Bonus + Up to $10K Relocation Assistance
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education, leadership, and improving patient care? We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support and develop nursing staff in a dynamic acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education and support to new hires, experienced staff, and students
- Plan, implement, and evaluate orientation programs, staff development, and continuing education
- Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for nursing staff, supporting complex patient care and medication administration
- Act as a liaison between nursing teams and leadership , ensuring clear communication and collaboration
- Identify clinical practice gaps through data analysis and implement targeted improvements
- Support the adoption of evidence-based practices, new protocols, and clinical innovations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Requirements
- Nursing degree required (BSN preferred )
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Minimum 5+ years of RN experience in acute care (preferred)
