Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Inpatient Pulmonary – Marietta, GA

Position

Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine.

Shift Details

• 100% inpatient pulmonary
• 7 total shifts per 2‑week pay period (six 12‑hour shifts 7 am–7 pm and one 8‑hour shift 7 am–3 pm)
• No nights or call
• Weekend shift required at least one of every four weekends

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attending physicians during inpatient rounds
• Assist with new consults and perform bedside procedures
• Receive on‑the‑job training for thoracentesis and potential chest tube placement
• Provide care across four hospitals: Kennestone (Marietta), Cobb (Austell), Douglas (Douglasville), Paulding (Hiram)

Requirements

• Holder of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
• Active or eligible for a Georgia state medical license
