Houston Methodist is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Acute Care (NP-AC) to provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including diagnosis, treatment and consultation in line with the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
The NP-AC collaborates with physicians and the interprofessional health care team, conducts physicals, orders tests and prescribes medications as needed, while educating patients on prevention and management of conditions.
