You'll lead multi-state rate development and regulatory filings, build GLMs and experience studies, and partner with Product Development and Underwriting.
The role reports to the VP, Product Development & Analytics and may be remote, with a preference for hybrid work from San Diego, California.Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience managing complex analyses and regulatory filing projects. High School Diploma or GED.Strong expertise in GLM modeling and ability to explain methodology to varied audiencesHands-on experience with Python, R, Emblem, Akur8, or other actuarial modeling softwareAdvanced proficiency in Excel and SQLExcellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics, finance or similarACAS or FCAS accreditationPreference for hybrid based in San Diego, CA; remote consideredExperience with data visualization tools and techniquesTools: Excel.
