- Assist with planning and leading daily resident activities.
- Encourage participation in recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
- Provide one-on-one activities for residents who prefer or require individual engagement.
- Assist with special events, holidays, outings, and entertainment.
- Build positive relationships with residents and encourage socialization.
- Document resident participation and activity outcomes.
- Assist with maintaining the activity calendar and supplies.
- Follow all facility policies and safety requirements.
- Work closely with the Activity Director and interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus.
- Must be dependable, patient, creative, and compassionate.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
