Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activity Director to join our team at Sullivan Healthcare & Senior Living. As an Activity Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activities that foster socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. With a focus on quality of life and individualized care, our Activity Director will develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program that aligns with the needs and interests of our residents
• Plan and coordinate individual and group activities, including music, games, arts and crafts, and other forms of entertainment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop activities that support resident physical, mental, and emotional well-being
• Promote resident engagement, socialization, and participation in activities
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activity programs and events
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident engagement, and program evaluations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for skilled nursing facilities
