Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate activity director to join our team. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities are aligned with each resident's individualized care plan
- Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activity programs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs, making adjustments as needed
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a warm and welcoming environment
- Manage activity budgets and maintain accurate records
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activity programming

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related field preferred
- Must be at least 18+ required.
- Experience in activity direction or a related field preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass a thorough background check and meet all state and federal requirements
