Schedule: Full Time | Monday–Friday
Salary: $50,000–$62,000 annually
About The Role
Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Director to lead engaging, person-centered programs that enhance residents’ quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee individualized activities and recreational programs.
- Coordinate outings, transportation, and community partnerships.
- Complete required documentation and administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
- Lead the Activities Department and support staffing and budgeting needs.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to promote meaningful engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of college; degree preferred.
- Must meet applicable state requirements for an Activities Professional or related qualification.
- Healthcare or skilled nursing activities experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
