Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Activities Director : Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities, including recreational programs, social events, and outings, to promote socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation among residents
• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents
• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, dietary, and housekeeping, to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care and comfort
• Conduct assessments to identify resident needs and preferences, and incorporate these findings into activity planning
• Manage and supervise a team of activity staff, including training and evaluating their performance
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activities, and outcomes, and report on program effectiveness to management and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Activities certification is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and families
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems independently
