- You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
- Oversee the programming in Memory Care.
- Work with families and clinical staff to ensure resident and family satisfaction.
Requirements

- Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area.
- Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
- Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
- Preferred experience with cognitively impaired seniors and behaviors.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
